I have set up a number of websites, but it remains more of a hobby than a job. That is actually a good thing because it seems when something becomes your job, you tend to be less enthusiastic about it. What I like most about the internet is that a little bit of knowledge can go a long way. I don't know much about html code or php or SQL, but I know enough to find opensource packages on the Internet, install them, and tweak them so they work.

Here are some of the sites that I manage and/or host:
  • Le Pupitre du Traducteur (Bible translation resources in French)
  • LingTranSoft.info is a website that lists the many software tools for doing linguistic and translation work in minority languages.
  • Outilingua.net pronounced oo-tee-lingua means linguistic tools. It is a website that supports French speaking translators and software consultants, providing tutorials and guides for the various software programs in use by linguists and Bible translators.
  • sil-burkina.org is the website for SIL in Burkina Faso. It is based on Drupal and provides a way to publish the linguistic documents and research that have been sitting in the library and collecting dust.
  • mifaamii.org is a website for the various teams working to translate the Bible into the Fulfulde dialects.
